Kennedy John Victor, famously known as Vikram, born on April 17, 1966, is a prominent figure in Tamil cinema, renowned for his versatile acting prowess. His illustrious career is adorned with numerous accolades, including seven Filmfare Awards South, a National Film Award, and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award. Notably, he was honored with the Kalaimamani Award by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2004 and received an honorary doctorate from the Popular University of Milan in May 2011, marking him as the first Indian actor to achieve this distinction from a European University for his contributions to acting. Vikram’s eminence further soared as he found a place in the esteemed Forbes India Celebrity 100 list for the years 2016 and 2018.
