Jeedigunta Varun Sandesh, born on July 21, 1989, is an Indian American actor renowned for his contributions to Telugu cinema. He gained prominence with his debut in Sekhar Kammula’s blockbuster “Happy Days” (2007), followed by notable roles in films like “Kotha Bangaru Lokam” (2008), “Yemaindi Ee Vela” (2010), “D for Dopidi” (2013), and “Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda” (2014). Notably, he starred in “Bigg Boss Telugu 3” in 2019, finishing as a finalist. Born in Rayagada, Odisha, Sandesh spent his early years in Hyderabad before relocating to Bridgewater Township, New Jersey, for his education. He hails from a family with a rich literary background, being the grandson of renowned Telugu writer Jeedigunta Ramachandra Murthy and the nephew of popular Telugu television personality Jeedigunta Sridhar. Sandesh’s younger sister, Veena Sahithi, is also involved in the entertainment industry. Sandesh’s entry into acting was serendipitous, as he responded to an online advertisement for auditions for Sekhar Kammula’s film “Happy Days,” despite initially intending to pursue medical studies.
