Varsha Bollamma, an Indian actress hailing from Coorg, Karnataka, and raised in Bangalore, has made her mark primarily in Tamil and Telugu cinema. She completed her education in microbiology from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, and is fluent in multiple languages including Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and has acquired proficiency in Telugu as well. Varsha initially gained recognition through her Dubsmash videos, notably for her rendition of Nazriya Nazim’s dialogues from the movie “Raja Rani.” This exposure led her to venture into the film industry, making her acting debut in the 2015 film “Sathuran.” Her breakthrough came with the Tamil film “Vetrivel” (2016), where she portrayed a significant role as Prabhu’s daughter alongside M. Sasikumar. Subsequently, she appeared in films like “Ivan Yarendru Therikiratha” (2017) and “Yaanum Theeyavan” (2017). In 2018, Varsha marked her entry into the Malayalam film industry with “Kalyanam” and also appeared in “Mandharam,” sharing the screen with Asif Ali. However, it was her role in the critically acclaimed Tamil film “96” (2018) that garnered attention, despite her small role, opposite Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha.
