Surveen Chawla, born on August 1, 1984, is an acclaimed Indian actress and dancer recognized for her work in both Hindi films and television. She embarked on her career journey with television shows like “Kahin to Hoga” and “Kajjal,” establishing her presence in the industry. Notably, she gained prominence for her roles in movies such as “Hate Story 2” (2014), “Ugly” (2013), “Parched” (2015), and the television series “24” (2016), among others. Her versatility and talent have earned her widespread acclaim and recognition. Chawla’s foray into television commenced with her participation in Channel [V]’s reality show “Coke [V] Popstars season 2” in 2003. Subsequently, she made her television debut as Charu in the Indian serial “Kahin To Hoga,” followed by appearances in shows like “Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena” and “Kasautii Zindagi Kay.” She further showcased her acting prowess as the lead protagonist in the TV serial “Kaajjal” and as the host of “Comedy Circus Ke SuperStars.” Transitioning to the silver screen, Chawla made her film debut with the Kannada film “Paramesha Panwala” and later ventured into Punjabi cinema with movies like “Dharti,” “Taur Mittran Di,” and “Disco Singh” (2014).
