Sana Althaf, an Indian actress known for her work in Malayalam and Tamil cinema, was born and raised in Kochi, Kerala, to parents Althaf and Shameena Althaf. She received her education at Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya in Kochi. Before venturing into acting, Sana initially pursued a career as a TV host. Her debut in the film industry came with the Malayalam movie “Vikramadithyan,” where she portrayed the role of Dulquer Salman’s sister. Sana landed this opportunity through her aunt, Sajna Najam. Following this, she gained recognition for her performance as Salomi, the female lead, in “Mariyam Mukku,” starring opposite Fahadh Faazil. Her versatility was further showcased when she played a trekker in the film “Rani Padmini.” Expanding her horizons, Sana made her Tamil debut with “Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings,” essaying the character of Anuradha. She continued to impress audiences with her acting prowess in Tamil cinema, appearing alongside Farhan Faazil in “Basheerinte Premalekhanam” as Suhra.
