Nazriya Nazim, born on 20 December 1994, is a multifaceted Indian actress, producer, and former television presenter known primarily for her work in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. Raised in Al Ain, UAE, before relocating to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, Nazriya was born to Nazimuddeen and Begum Beena, and she has a brother named Naveen Nazim. She received her education from various institutions including Our Own English High School in Al Ain and Christ Nagar School in Thiruvananthapuram. Nazriya embarked on her entertainment career as an anchor for Malayalam television channel Asianet, hosting the quiz show “Punyamaasathiloode” in 2005 and later engaging in various other anchoring roles. Her journey into acting began as a child artist in Blessy’s Malayalam film “Palunku” (2006), where she portrayed the daughter of Mammootty’s character. Subsequently, she became known for her appearances on Asianet’s music reality television show “Munch Star Singer.” Her breakthrough as a leading actress came with the 2013 Malayalam film “Maad Dad.” This paved the way for her to star in successful films such as “Neram” (2013), “Raja Rani” (2013), “Ohm Shanthi Oshaana” (2014), and “Bangalore Days” (2014), establishing herself as a prominent talent in the industry.
