Nara Rohith

Nara Rohith, born on July 25, 1985, is a prominent Indian actor and producer predominantly active in Telugu cinema. Graduating from the esteemed New York Film Academy, Rohit has left an indelible mark with notable works including “Baanam” (2009), “Solo” (2011), “Prathinidhi” (2014), “Rowdy Fellow” (2014), “Asura” (2015), and “Jyo Achyutananda” (2016). He also holds the reins of the production house, Aran Media Works. Hailing from a distinguished lineage, Nara Rohith is the son of Nara Ramamurthy Naidu and the nephew of N. Chandrababu Naidu, the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. His educational journey took him through Hyderabad for schooling, Vignan College at Vadlamudi for Intermediate, and Anna University, Chennai, where he pursued B.Tech. in Industrial Biotechnology. Furthering his skills, he embarked on courses in acting at the New York Film Academy, New York, and filmmaking in Los Angeles. Rohith’s cinematic journey commenced with the critically acclaimed “Baanam,” directed by debutant Chaitanya Dantuluri, followed by the moderate success of “Solo” directed by Parasuram. He ventured into a special role in Ravi Teja’s “Sarocharu” in 2012. Collaborating with director Srinivas Raga in “Okkadine” alongside Nithya Menon in 2013, unfortunately, didn’t yield commercial success. Apart from his acting endeavors, Rohith contributed as a narrator in “Swamy Ra Ra.” His dedication to his craft was evident when he transformed his physique for the film “Balakrishnudu,” silencing body-shaming critics and garnering praise for his fit appearance.
