Megha Akash

Megha Akash, born on October 26, 1995, is an Indian actress prominently known for her work in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Her journey in the film industry began with her acting debut in the Telugu film “Lie” in 2017. She later ventured into Tamil cinema with notable appearances in films such as “Petta” and her Hindi debut in “Satellite Shankar,” both released in 2019. Additional credits to her name include roles in “Raja Raja Chora” and “Dear Megha,” both in 2021. Hailing from Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu, Megha was born to a Telugu father and a Malayali mother, both of whom are professionals in the advertising industry. She pursued her education at the Lady Andal School in Chennai and further graduated with a B. Sc. in Visual Communications from Women’s Christian College, Chennai. Megha’s career trajectory saw a significant milestone with her performance in the Tamil film “Oru Pakka Kathai,” which premiered on ZEE5 in December 2020. Fluent in Tamil, she lent her voice for her character in the film.
