Born on June 7, 1992, in Delhi, India, Manjot Singh is an Indian actor and director known for his unexpected journey in the film industry. Despite lacking prior acting experience, Manjot auditioned for Dibakar Banerjee’s “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!” His initial rejection turned into success when Banerjee saw his potential, casting him as the younger Lucky, a role played by Abhay Deol.
Manjot’s performance in “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!” earned him the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor. He furthered his acting career with roles in “Udaan,” “Student of the Year,” and “Fukrey.” In 2017, he appeared in the sequel to “Fukrey,” titled “Fukrey Returns.”
