Jyothika Saravanan, formerly known as Jyothika Sadanah, born on October 18, 1978, is an acclaimed Indian actress and film producer prominent in Tamil cinema, with notable appearances in Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi films as well. She is celebrated for her versatility and has garnered numerous awards, including a National Film Award, four Filmfare Awards South, three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, and the prestigious Kalaimamani Award. Regarded as one of the most prolific actresses in Tamil cinema, Jyothika has consistently been praised for her impactful performances and is widely recognized as one of the finest actresses in South India. Jyothika embarked on her acting journey with the Hindi film “Doli Saja Ke Rakhna” in 1997, directed by Priyadarshan. However, it was her debut in Tamil cinema with “Vaali” in 1999 and in Telugu cinema with “Tagore” in 2003, opposite Chiranjeevi, that marked her rise to prominence.
