Jiiva, originally named Amar Choudary, is a prominent figure in Tamil cinema, born on January 4, 1984, in Chennai, India. He hails from a notable film background as the youngest son of renowned film producer R. B. Choudary. Jiiva embarked on his cinematic journey at a tender age, starting as a child actor in his father’s productions since 1991. His transition to the forefront of the industry occurred with his lead role debut in “Aasai Aasaiyai” (2003), which marked his father’s 50th production venture. Jiiva’s breakthrough performance came with “Raam” (2005), for which he received acclaim and the distinction of being awarded at the Cyprus International Film Festival, following in the footsteps of the legendary Sivaji Ganesan.
