Jeetendra Madnani, popularly known as Jeet, is a multifaceted personality in Indian cinema, recognized for his contributions as an actor, producer, singer, entrepreneur, and television presenter in Bengali cinema. He owns the production houses “Grassroot Entertainment” and “Jeetz Filmworks” and serves as the Executive Secretary of the “West Bengal Motion Picture Artists’ Forum.” Jeet has been honored with various awards, including Tele Cine Awards, Anandalok Puraskar for Best Actor, and Kalakar Awards, earning him the title of “King of Tollywood” in 2014. Beginning his journey in Telugu cinema with the film “Chandu” in 2001, Jeet transitioned to Bengali cinema and achieved his breakthrough with “Sathi,” which emerged as one of the highest-grossing Bengali films. Over the past two decades, he has solidified his position as one of the leading stars in Bengali cinema, delivering both critically acclaimed and commercially successful films such as “Awara,” “Boss: Born to Rule,” “Bachchan,” “Badsha ? The Don,” and “Sultan: The Saviour.” In 2022, Jeet starred in “Raavan” and collaborated with director Rajesh Ganguly for “Chengiz,” marking the first Bengali film to have a simultaneous Hindi release, which garnered commercial success. Currently, he is involved in his upcoming project “Boomerang.” On the personal front, Jeet was born into a Sindhi family and has been in the limelight for his relationship with co-star Swastika Mukherjee during the filming of “Mastan.” He tied the knot with Mohna Ratlani, a school teacher from Lucknow, on February 24, 2011. The couple welcomed their first daughter in December 2012, and in October 2023, they celebrated the arrival of their second child, a son.
