Asif Ali, born on February 4, 1986, is a prominent figure in the Malayalam film industry, renowned for his versatility as an actor and producer. He embarked on his cinematic journey with Shyamaprasad’s “Ritu” in 2009, marking the inception of a successful career. Throughout the years, Asif has garnered acclaim for his roles in critically and commercially successful ventures. His notable performances include the romantic thriller “Apoorvaragam,” the gripping road thriller “Traffic,” the endearing romantic comedy “Salt N’ Pepper,” and the captivating period drama “Ozhimuri,” which earned an official selection in the Indian Panorama section of the 43rd International Film Festival of India. Notably, his film “Nirnayakam” (2015) clinched the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues.
