Arulnithi Tamilarasu

Arulnithi Tamilarasu, born on July 21, 1987, is a notable Indian actor renowned for his portrayal in the lead role of “Vamsam,” directed by Pandiraj. Hailing from a distinguished lineage, Arulnithi’s grandfather is M. Karunanidhi, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, and his father is M. K. Tamilarasu, brother of M. K. Stalin, current Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He shares close familial ties with noted producers Udhayanidhi Stalin and Dhayanidhi Alagiri. Arulnithi received his education at St. Michael’s Academy in Chennai and pursued further studies at Loyola College and Pondicherry University. In 2015, he married Keerthana, and the couple welcomed their first child, a son, in 2017, followed by a daughter in November 2021. Arulnithi’s acting career gained momentum when he was offered the lead role in “Vamsam” after his cousin, Udhayanidhi Stalin, withdrew from the project. The film, centered around a young man navigating familial and political complexities in his village, received widespread acclaim and commercial success.
