Anirban Bhattacharya is a multifaceted Indian talent known for his prowess as an actor, theatre artist, singer, and director. Born on October 7, 1986, in Midnapore, West Bengal, Bhattacharya’s journey in the world of performing arts began early in his life. He pursued his passion for theatre, studying drama at Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata after completing his schooling at Nirmal Hriday Ashram Catholic Church High School. Bhattacharya’s career burgeoned in the world of theatre, where he showcased his acting prowess through various notable productions. One of his early successes was his portrayal in “Debi Sarpamasta,” a production directed by Debesh Chattopadhyay and written by Manoj Mitra. He garnered widespread acclaim for his performances in renowned plays such as “Anthony Soudamini,” “Nagamandala” by Girish Karnad, “Jara Agun Lagay,” “Bisorjan,” and “Awdyo Shesh Rajani,” among others. His outstanding portrayal in “Awdyo Shesh Rajani” earned him the Mahindra Excellence Theatre Awards (META) for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) in 2017. Transitioning to the silver screen, Bhattacharya made his film debut with the Zee Bangla telefilm “Kader Kuler Bou” in 2015.
